It is possible that an address verification is not possible with a gift card. Online and telephone purchases may require that the “billing address” for your purchase match the address on file for your Central Bank Gift Card. You would need to register your card if you are going to make online or telephone purchases.
It is also possible that if the purchase amount exceeds the card balance, the transaction could be declined. If you do not have sufficient funds on the card, you can request that the merchant charge part of the purchase on the card and pay the remaining amount with cash or another card. This is referred to as a “split transaction.” Some merchants will only permit split transactions if you pay the remainder in cash, while some may not accept split transactions at all.
